In my parent's house, they always have standard place for all the furniture that they have. It's because they find it too heavy to carry all those furniture's just to transfer to the other place. Well luckily for our big and heavy couch in the living, it's so handy to move because it has some casters around it. So when my sister wants to clean the floor which is under the couch, then she just pushed it and it goes so easy. No need to carry it or else they need to have few people to do it, LOL.
I know someone also that likes to have casters for furniture. She's one of my close friends way back in my college days. She likes to keep changing the position of her furniture and luckily most of her furniture has some casters, so it's easy to move from one place to the other.
