Our Christmas tree
Thursday, December 23, 2010

Our Christmas tree was up already last week, but If I forgot to take some pictures. And just three days ago I made some pictures to post here in my blog. These were the final results of all the hard work that my parents-in-law and I did during our Christmas decoration day. We used a fresh pine tree that gave a refreshing smell in the living room. Putting the Christmas decorations was a lot of work because mostly the Chrsitmas balls and other small decorations that need to hang in the tree were all fragile. It's all made of glass, so if it fell on the floor, then bye bye. So we’re all careful in unpacking it from the box and hang it on the tree.
Another decoration that we add was just simple things to display, but still a lot of work because it needs to hang on the wall. It's a bit higher so need to stand on the couch or used the ladder.

Riding a sledge
Wednesday, December 22, 2010
My husband and bro-in-law used to ride this sledge during their younger days. Therefore, this sledge is already almost 30 years old and still we can use it when we want.

Busy playing Sims 3
Friday, December 10, 2010
Wow, time fly so fast when you're busy with something. I was busy this past few days playing SIMS 3. The Sims is a strategic life-simulation computer game where you can create your own puppet and control it for his/her basic needs and another fun activities that you want to do in the game. In my busy days, I never notice that I did not post anything here in my blog. Almost a week was my last post here. Well, I had a great time playing Sims 3 with the latest expansions that hubby installed it for me. In this latest Sims 3, you can download several clothing for free. Isn't that fun? And no need to buy those clothing in the Sims store because once your puppet own a closet, then she can wear all the clothing that she wants.

Vintage t-shirt for him
A few days ago, I was shopping with my parents-in-law at the market here in Den Haag. I remember that the last time I visited the market was five months ago. And now that I'm back in NL, I was curious if there some changes of their clothing display in the market. So far, some clothing looks familiar for me and some were latest fashion for this year. I was hoping that I can find a vintage t-shirts for my brother as my birthday gift to him, but sad to say it wasn't there. Well, I try to check it this weekend if there some vintage t shirts that I can find through online store. And hope it affordable for my budget.
