I was busy searching for an old message that my friend just sent me. She sends me her mobile number, I supposed to copy that, but I set a side for the meantime because I was doing something else. Until time came that I forgot and directly I sign out in my YM. So now I need to search if it saved automatically.
If you ENABLE the option, then you'll find them for each contact and all conferences between the date you enabled it and now by doing the following:
1) Right click on a contact.
2) "Message Archive"
If you HAVEN'T ENABLE YET or you want to check to see if you have or not, do the following:
1) On the main Messenger window, go to the "Messenger" tab.
2) "Preferences"
3) "Archive"
4) Choose one of the two options that suits you.
And no they won't get deleted, unless you do it yourself.
