The pole that I’m holding is exactly the border of the two countries, such as Netherlands and Germany. The family teased me when I stand there that I visit Germany already and I’m standing on it. This picture was taken during our family vacation at the southern part of NL. Just few minutes drive then you can reach the border of Germany.

Two countries at one time! Good for you. And a bright, colorful picture.
I used to live in British Columbia, very close to the US border, and loved to take visitors to have pictures taken as they stood with one foot in each country.
